WMCT - In-Game Code of Conduct
Language and Behavior:
- - No extreme language or vulgarity
- - No inappropriate language or innuendo
- - No promoting of your own or others content in the in-game chat
- - No spreading of duplicitous or misleading information (e.g. inaccurate information about
substitutes, specific event timings, or decisions that are up to administrators to make)
- - No arguing or excessively negative behavior
Client Modifications:
Generally, clients that aim to improve performance or add quality-of-life features that don't
alter gameplay are allowed. However, the following specific client-offered features are
prohibited:
- - Fullbright
- - Freelook
- - Movement modifications that imitate or emulate "inventory jamming" on Java Edition
- - Entity minimaps or entity x-ray
The use of hacked clients or autoclickers is strictly prohibited.
Please keep in mind that WMCT is not tested on
non-Vanilla clients. Usage of clients may cause unexpected crashes or other issues. Use
third-party clients at your own risk.
Skins:
- - No inappropriate or political skins
- - No skins that are too large or small, or have too many transparent pixels
- - No skins displaying the faces of real-life people or skins that share personal
information. An exception may be made for
non-controversial public
figures.
Gameplay:
- - No abuse of glitches or bugs
- - No cross-teaming on other teams (i.e.
ignoring other teams may be beneficial for your gameplay in certain situations, but
actively
joining forces with another team to strategically eliminate others is against the
rules)
- - No prolonged targeting of a specific individual or individuals (i.e. don't target for targeting's sake)
Allowed Modifications:
- - Toggle sprint
- - Toggle sneak
- - In-game statistics (e.g. personal CPS viewers or FPS viewers)
- - Capes added through the backend of the game
